How do I play?

Tap a customer to energize it, then connect it to a power plant with a transmission line. A guided tutorial walks you through your first grid; the "How it works" panel in Settings explains every concept.

Is my progress saved?

Yes — automatically, on your device. There is no account and no cloud sync in this version, so your grid lives on the device you play on and is removed if you delete the app.

My grid keeps blacking out — what happened?

That's the game! When a line carries more power than it can handle it trips, and the load reroutes onto other lines — which can cascade. The "Why it failed" panel explains each outage. Build redundant paths (N-1) so a single failure can't take you down.

How do I start over?

Open Settings — there are two resets: Restart run (rebuild the grid, keep your upgrades) and New Game (erase everything and replay the tutorial).

Does it cost anything or show ads?

No. GridOp is free, has no ads, and has no in-app purchases in this version.

What device do I need?

An iPhone running iOS 17 or later, in portrait orientation.
